How can I pay for my room at Island World Panglao?

You can use cash (PHP), credit cards, WeChat Pay & AliPay.



How far is Island World Panglao from Alona Beach?

We are approx 8-900 meter from Alona Beach. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk or you can take our free shuttle from 5.30am-22.30pm.



Does Island World Panglao have free transport to Alona Beach?

Yes, we have a free shuttle van from our resort to Alona Beach, Dumaluan Beach and nearby locations. The shuttle is available from 5.30am to 22.30pm - everyday! You can text/call our drivers when you want to come back to the resort and we will come and pick you up aslo.



Can Island World Panglao arrange airport or seaport pickup?

Yes, we can arrange airport pickup at Panglao Airport for 300 pesos in total for a car or van. Seaport pickup is 600 pesos for a car or van. Please contact us before your arrival to arrange pickup. The driver will have a signboard with your name when we arrange the pickup.



What time is the Island World Panglao restaurant open?

Our restaurant is open from 5.30am until 9.30pm. Last order is 9.00pm. We serve local and international food.



Does Island World Panglao provide massage/spa services?

Yes, we have a massage house beside the pool where our excellent massage therapists offer a range of massage services. Our guests can also have massage in the room/bungalow. Most of our massage services cost 500 pesos per hour.



When did Island World Panglao open?

We opened our resort on May 19th 2018.



Can Island World Panglao arrange Island hopping and countryside tours?

Yes we can arrange island hopping and countryside tours for our guests. Please ask at reception for details and prices.



Can Island World arrange scooter for rent?

Yes, we can arrange scooter for rent for approx 400 pesos per day (24H). Please bring valid driver license and remember to always wear helmet and shoes when driving.



What time can we use the Island World pool?

Our pool is open 24/7 - when using the pool after 22.00pm please be silent a other guests might be sleeping. Please be reminded that we do not have a life guard - so be careful and remember use of our pool facilities is at own risk.



Is smoking allowed at Island World Panglao?

Smoking is strictly NOT allowed in the rooms/bungalows. We will fine every incident with 20,000 pesos. Smoking is allowed on the terraces and in in areas where no other guests are being disturbed.



Can i bring my pet? (dog, cat, etc.?)

Pets are not allowed at Island World Panglao.



Which nationalities are Island World Panglaos guests?

Most of Island World Panglaos guests are from Taiwan and China, but also from Europe, USA, Australia and local guests from the Philippines.



Why is Island World Panglao so popular?

Island World Panglao has become very popular with guests in especially China and Taiwan - we focus on providing best possible service with focus, passion and commitment. We do our best to always provide best possible service for our guests and appreciate all guests at our resort. We always look for ways to make our guests happy!



Does all rooms have pool view?

All our bungalows are located around the pool - most of them with direct pool view. Non of our bungalows is more than 5 meters from the pool. Some of our other rooms/apartments are a little further away from the pool.



Is it possible to give a tip to Island World Panglaos staff?

Yes of course! Our team is happy and appreciate a tip from our guests - the staff tip box is at the reception :)



Does Island World Panglao comply with all regulations for the business and for the staff?

Yes! Island World Panglao makes a big effort to comply with all regulations and permits for the business in The Philippines. All our staff have fair salaries and receive the mandatory employee benefits (SSS, Pag Ibig, Philhealth).



Does Island World Panglao have good Internet connection?

Yes, we have a 500 mbps Fibr Internet connection - which is the fastest on the island! And its free for our guests. In additional we have 2 backup Internet connections with 2 x 25 mbps. Each guest/user has a dedicated 5 mbps connection which ensures streaming of YouTube, Netflix and other services.



Will Island World Panglao expand with more rooms?

Yes, we are currently building more bungalows and a new 2nd pool will be ready in first quarter 2020.



Is there a hair dryer in the room?

Yes, we have hair dryer in all rooms.



Is there a TV in the room?

Yes, all our rooms have TV with plenty of local and international cable TV channels.



Does Island World Panglao provide Senior Citizen discount?

Yes, we provide the mandatory 20% discount for Filipino Senior Citizens with valid Senior Citizen ID.

Does Island World Panglao provide access for day-guests?

No, our facilities are for our guests only (guests who have booked rooms/bungalows with us).



Can Island World Panglao arrange room decorations and cakes for e.g. birthdays?

Yes, we can arrange the room for special occations and also arrange delicious birthday cakes for approx 500-800 pesos. Please let us know beforehand if you would like us to arrange your room and/or birthday cake.



Does Island World Panglao have open job vacanies?

Does Island World Panglao provide contracted rates to travel agencies?

Until now we have not worked with travel agencies as we focus on direct relationships with our guests and our cooperation with booking.com. Can Island World Panglao recommend some good restaurants nearby?

Yes, we like Lotus Bistro (both the old and new), Barwoo and Giuseppe Pizza. Our own restaurant at Island World Panglao is also ver good :)



How much does a tricycle cost from Alona Beach to Island World Panglao?

Not more than 100 pesos. If a driver ask for more, better find another driver.



How is the weather in Panglao?

The weather is actually almost always nice - with temperatures of approx 25-30 degrees Celcius all year its a great holiday location. There are rainy seasons, but when it rains its often only short time and then the sun is back.



Is Island World accepting bookings again?

YES! Island World has been open all the time and we are fully operational. We are looking forward to your stay with us :)
